Jenna Marbles is one of the hottest personalities on YouTube right now. Her channel happens to be the 8th most subscribe channel at 12.9 million subscribers, which also makes her the top operator of a channel that is a woman. Basically, when she says something, people listen.

She basically posts a video a week to her You Tube channel, and her newest edition for this week just came out. The basis of the 9 minute video is showing what’s on her phone and her iPad. Fans requested her to show what on her phone because it’s apparently a thing now on You Tube.

What differentiates her videos from the rest is that she reveals what apps she loves and hates on her mobile devices instead of showing texts and pictures as the other videos do. So, she goes along showing and discussing all of the apps she loves and hates while using charmingly vulgar language. She highlights apps like Uber and Pandora, throwing in her opinion on everything downloaded on her devices.

By the end of the video, at the 8 minute mark, she adds in that Siri will be redoing emojis. If you didn’t know, Siri can read you’re texts and if there you are sent an emoji, Siri will read the emoji in as it is displayed in the text. This feature is called Speak Selection and it is under Accessibility section in the General settings.

Anyway, she makes Siri repeatedly describe different emojis while laughing at the robotic technical assistant. It is pretty funny because some of the emojis are so obscure. For example:
emoji-iphone
When you press speak, Siri actually says, “Smiling pile of poo.” You could spend hours listening to Siri describe different emojis and it won’t get boring because of the variety of little pictures in the iPhone’s arsenal. I can barely describe the countless emojis, it will be very interesting hearing Siri’s monotonic voice depict them.

It has recently come to light that Apple is working on more racially diverse emojis as well. They are trying to make these because the ones currently on the keyboard are severely stereotypical. So there will surely be more news to come regarding emojis and the iPhone in the near future.
